Job Title: Logistic Coordinator | 1371Location: Axis, ALDuration: 4 months Schedule: With7am until 2:30 / 3:00 depending upon lunch schedule. with OTJob SummaryThe Chemical Operations Technician is responsible for the packaging and shipment of finished goods, as well as supporting plant operations. Duties include loading/unloading, operating equipment, performing housekeeping, supporting production areas, and ensuring a safe work environment.Key Responsibilities:The jobholder pulls open orders from SAP and Oracle and communicates orders and shipping arrangements to operators, shift leaders and warehouse personnel on a daily basis - 30%Uses same reports to contact carriers to set up a pickup schedule -15%Shipping log from previous day is reviewed and any shipping issues are communicated to the warehouse personnel and Arkema/PMC's customer service departments-20%Open orders and issues with orders for the joint venture, PMC/Stannica, and their customers are addressed daily - 10%Work effectively with other throughout the supply chain organization to solve problems and meet performance goals for customer satisfaction and margin -5%Provide insight and escalate concerns as soon as possible so that Customer Service and demand planning is aware of delivery/supply challenges -5%This jobholder will be the primary backup for the Logistics Supervisor - 5%Complete and Process all paperwork for shipment in SAP/Oracle - 10%3 years experience requiredChemical manufacturing experience preferredHigh School Diploma or GEDWorking knowledge of DOT/EPA/OSHA rules and regulations governing raw materials and finished goods.Extensive knowledge of SAP and OracleExcellent communications skillsGood computer skillsTeam player who can function efficiently across all departments within and outside the plantOpen minded to fluid work environmentSelf motivated and requires little supervisionCalm under pressureAble to influence others without formal authority to get the job doneComply with Regulations, legal and internal requirements as made know by the site and BUComply with the rules of the specific location to which one is assigned as well as the rules set by the businessAs required, initiates and participates in Root Cause Investigations,Understands and executes Emergency Response procedures to mitigate unplanned events in the processSupports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirementsParticipates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc.
