THE EMPLOYERTake your career up a few notches with this company that connects farmers with markets, customers with ingredients, and families with daily essentials—from the foods they eat to the floors they walk on.THE JOBThe Electrical Engineering Lead will manage and execute overall governance on standards, application, gaps, solutions and measurements to increase production quality, efficiency and volume for the business. In this role, you will lead a team that executes activities related to electrical engineering to enable strategic growth projects and improve our capabilities by providing engineering leadership for the organization.Establish accident prevention measures. Schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production. Identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks. Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output. Ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. Other duties as assigned. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Electrical Engineering Lead who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Electrical Engineering Lead would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum of four years of related work experience. Demonstrated working knowledge of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Experience with predictive technologies (MCA, vibration, infrared, ultrasound, machinery lubrication). Experience with electrical power equipment testing (NETA). Basic understanding of National Electric Code (NEC), IEC standards and ISA standards. Experience with Corn Milling, Oil and Gas, or Petro Chemical equipment and processes. Electrical Power Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT pursuing a Professional Engineer license.
