A/R Clerk & Car Rental Assistant

Committed to delivering exceptional service, quality vehicles, and a welcoming environment, we strive to ensure every customer leaves completely satisfied.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage our Accounts Receivable (AR) functions and support our Car Rental Department. This dual role is essential for maintaining the dealership’s cash flow and ensuring a seamless experience for our rental customers. Position is Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm with rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities include however are not limited to: Reconciles and Deposits receipts from Service/Parts transactions, Body Shop Transactions, Car Deal Transactions, and Manufacturer Warranty & Incentives. Receipt cash, check, or ACH payments received on account the appropriate receivable account. Reconcile and Post Daily credit card batches Review Accounts Receivable accounts for accuracy. Document necessary adjustments for manager posting Monitor aging reports and conduct professional follow-ups on delinquent accounts Maintain accurate documentation of calls or other forms of communication made to customers. Process and print out monthly accounts receivable statements. Mail statements along with any invoice copies. Performs background checks on credit applications. Gives approvals for current charges. Update customer account information Act as the primary assistant to the Car Rental Manager, assisting with scheduling and customer rental inquiries. Utilize rental software to manage vehicle availability Complete administrative tasks such as preparing rental contracts, coordinating vehicle deliveries, and processing paperwork.
