Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Position Highlights Schedule: 2 clinic days per week ( 24 hours/week) Outpatient clinic setting (day hours) Rotating call schedule Rotating weekends Start: April 2026 Collaborative oncology & specialty support team No locums or locums-to-perm Must reside within 1-hour commute Your Role As an Oncologist, you will:Diagnose and stage various cancers using clinical assessments, imaging, and labsDevelop individualized treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation coordination)Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as neededManage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive careEducate and counsel patients and families throughout their cancer journeyCollaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, NPs, and navigatorsParticipate in clinical trials and quality improvement initiativesStay current with evolving oncology guidelines and advancementsMentor clinical staff and contribute to departmental growthThis is an opportunity to truly impact a rural patient population while practicing high-quality, evidence-based oncology care.
