Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting ManagerLocation: Fort Worth, TXSchedule: M-F, 8AM-5PM CSTHybrid Setup: 1-2 Days Per Week in Office Based on Business NeedsPay Range: $100K-$125K BOEJob Type: Full-Time; Salary ExemptOverview:A growing organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to support a specialized business segment. This role will oversee accounting, reporting, and controls while partnering cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial performance.Responsibilities:Lead close processes and oversee financial reportingManage reconciliations, journal entries, and analysisSupport third-party and regulatory reportingOversee cash activity, settlements, and account balancesAnalyze results against budget and forecastMaintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable standardsPartner across finance and operations to improve processesSupport audits and special projectsLead and develop a small accounting teamQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredCPA preferred3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in insurance or financial servicesLeadership experience managing or mentoring staffStrong US GAAP knowledge and reconciliation experienceAdvanced Excel skillsStrong analytical and communication skillsPreferred:Experience with Workday or BlackLineBackground in insurance, warranty, or service contract environmentsExposure to audit or regulatory reporting
