Jewelry DesignerSandeep Diamond Corporation is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewelry Designer to join our team in NY. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing on-trend jewelry collections that align with our client needs. The ideal candidate possesses a broad taste level range and an understanding of the technical side of jewelry manufacturing to bring original concepts to life.Key ResponsibilitiesConcept Development: Design original fashion jewelry concepts across multiple categories, ensuring they align with the requirements and brand DNA of our retail partners.Trend Research: Put together briefs of upcoming trends. A strong aesthetic eye is needed with the creative ability to translate high-level trends into wearable fine fashion jewelry.Technical Specification: Must be able to effectively communicate product specifications with the factory.Design Iteration: Efficiently revise designs based on internal and buyer feedback, considering production requirements while maintaining the original design integrity.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet costing targets.Travel: Domestic and International Travel necessaryQualifications & SkillsTechnical Expertise: Robust knowledge of jewelry construction, materials and various manufacturing processes.Independent Execution: Proven ability to manage projects independently with minimal supervision, meeting all deadlines.Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills, particularly when managing technical specs and design revisions.Communication: Excellent hand-illustration and digital presentation skills to effectively pitch ideas.
