Drums Instructor - After-school Group Classes in Downey

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Drums Instructor to teach after-school group Drums classes at a Middle School in Downey, CA. Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Paid time is 2.50pm-4.50 pm which includes time to setup/break down. The instructional time is approximately 75 minutes. We are hiring immediately! Elite Guitar has provided after-school music classes to thousands of students since 2017. Requirements: Experience working with children ages 11-14 strongly desired. Good classroom management skills (required) Ability to work independently (required) Prior group class experience (desired) Be punctual and reliable (required) Be self-driven, with the right attitude, and desire to positively influence and support the students' emotional, physical and mental development through music (required) Maintain professional relationship with students, parents, school staff, and teachers (required) Have a valid California Driver's License AND reliable transportation (required) Must be authorized to work in the US (required) Must pass a background check by the school district (required) Job Type: Contract Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour Work Location: In person
