Job Title: Technical Solutions Engineer Job Location: 305 Franklin Street, Columbus, Indiana 47201, and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Duties LER TechForce LLC seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer in Columbus, Indiana, and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Duties: explain complex technical battery energy storage system concepts to clients and contribute to sales presentations by demonstrating products' benefits, value, and applications; interact directly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements and discuss competitors' information; gather information, analyze clients' projects and requirements, and identify opportunities; develop energy storage system solutions that align with clients' projects; provide clients with technical support and relay information to development teams for battery energy storage product development; create detailed proposals that outline solutions and their benefits; participate in negotiations with clients by addressing technical concerns, clarifying expectations, and ensuring that all parties are aligned on the proposed solution for final technical agreements; identify potential issues with battery energy storage systems and provide preventative solutions; solve technical issues that may arise during manufacturing, delivery, and commissioning of battery energy storage systems; cooperate with internal development and project management teams; stay informed about market trends, competitor offers, and customer feedback, and generate ideas for product and service improvement and innovation based on market trends and customer input. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical and computer engineering, or related field, and 1 year's experience in engineering or technical roles which included at least one of the skills listed below. Included within the 1 year of experience, must have experience in all of the following: North American new battery energy storage industry after-sales service standards; North American new battery energy storage industry safety operation specifications; North American new battery energy storage industry recycling-related standards and regulations; battery energy storage system components (lithium-ion battery modules, HVAC, fire safety systems); power conversion system components (converter, transformer, switch gear); battery management systems and battery temperature management systems; electrical schematics for battery energy storage system applications.
