🚨 Hiring: Senior .NET Engineer | Contract-to-Hire | Plano, TXWe are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Engineer who combines strong hands-on engineering expertise with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.📍 Location: Plano, TX – 4 Days Onsite💼 Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)🛂 Work Authorization: USC or Green Card holders onlyAbout the RoleThe ideal candidate will be a senior-level engineer who can confidently represent the technology team in front of business stakeholders while remaining highly hands-on technically.You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, contribute to architecture and design decisions, and jump into development and Proof-of-Concept (POC) work whenever needed.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, REST APIs, and SQL Server.Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Provide technical leadership around application architecture, design patterns, scalability, security, and performance.Remain hands-on with development, troubleshooting, prototyping, and implementation.Design and develop POCs/prototypes to validate technical approaches and business use cases.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.Mentor developers and promote software engineering best practices.Support application modernization and integration with Microsoft Azure.Work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.Create and maintain technical specifications and solution documentation.Required Qualifications8+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on Microsoft .NET expertise.Strong experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, REST APIs, and SQL Server.Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.Experience designing and developing microservices and distributed applications.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application architecture.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Proven experience developing POCs/prototypes and taking solutions from concept through implementation.Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact directly with business and technical stakeholders.Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining a hands-on engineer.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.Ideal CandidateWe are specifically looking for someone who is not purely an architect or manager.
