Sr. Mainframe Application Programmer

Senior Application Programmer – Mainframe Systems | Cerritos, CAWe are seeking a Senior Mainframe Application Programmer to design, develop, test, implement, and support complex enterprise applications.Key Requirements:7+ years of Mainframe application development/programming experience.Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, IMS/DB2, and CICS.Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, VSAM, DB2, IMS, SQL, SORT/ICETOOLS.Knowledge of z/OS mainframe environment.Experience with tools/utilities such as CA Endevor, File Manager, SPUFI, IBM OPTIM, Debugger, FTP is a plus.Strong understanding of application design, development, debugging, testing, integration, documentation, and production support.Ability to analyze requirements and work with customers/stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science preferred; equivalent additional experience may substitute.Work Arrangement: Onsite 5 days/week initially, with potential for up to 2 days remote based on project requirements.Core Keywords: COBOL | IMS | DB2 | CICS | JCL | z/OS | TSO/ISPF | VSAM | Mainframe | SQL | CA Endevor
