Project Cost Controller

Job Title: Project Cost ControllerPay Rate: $47 to $53.50/hrDuration: 8 MonthsLocation: New London, CTThis position is for the Power & Energy division.We are looking for a Cost Analyst (Construction) for a project in the Power & Energy sector. This is a great opportunity for professionals with experience in construction or infrastructure cost management. In this role, you’ll be responsible for tracking and managing project costs on-site, ensuring all expenses are properly recorded and reported.Your day-to-day work will include:Tracking project activities and progress on-site (onshore & offshore work)Managing and processing project costs, invoices, and expensesAssigning costs to the correct tasks, phases, and cost codes (WBS)Preparing cost reports, budget vs. actuals, and forecastsWorking closely with project teams, finance, and logisticsMaintaining accurate and audit-ready project recordsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in cost control, cost tracking, or project cost analysisBackground in construction, infrastructure, energy, or EPC projectsStrong skills in Excel and cost reportingExperience with invoice processing, cost allocation, and budgetingAbility to work on-site in a fast-paced project environmentNice to have:Experience in offshore wind, marine, or port/harbor projectsFamiliarity with project cost tools (SAP, Primavera, etc.)
