Automotive Warehouse Parts ClerkAn automotive warehouse parts clerk is responsible for managing the inventory of automotive parts, assisting customers with their needs, and processing transactions. They must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as technical knowledge of automotive parts and systems.Essential DutiesReceive and process orders for automotive partsCheck inventory levels by performing BIN Counts daily and order parts as neededAssist customers in finding and purchasing the correct partsKeep accurate and organized records of all transactionsHandle returns and exchanges of partsCollaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean and organized parts departmentProvide excellent customer service by answering questions and providing product informationStay up to date on new automotive technologies and productsDrive delivery vehicle to deliver orders as per company procedures, in accordance with company policy regarding driver safety and qualifications.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious experience in inventory management or parts control, ideally within a OEM automotive dealership is preferred but not required.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tracking, managing, and documenting inventory.Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficient in using inventory management software and other modern technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendorsPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
