The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skillsWhat You Will DoExperience with designing and developing web applications with an emphasis on frontendStrong experience with frontend web technologies and frameworks - React, Javascript/Typescript, HTML/CSSProficient with consuming REST APIs and handling all HTTP responsesExperience with backend web services frameworks - Node.jsSome experience with relational databases - SQLStrong experience with Git, Bug tracking, and collaborating with a software teamBasic understanding of Containerization and DevOps processes (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD)Strong debugging and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent multi-tasking and organizational skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical thinking skillsSelf-directed, analytical, and collaborative with a constant desire to learn, improve, and make things betterExperience working with a cross-disciplinary team of PMs, designers and other developersWhat You Will BringEstimate, plan, and implement software development work.\Work closely with product manager to gather requirements to build new modules or improve existing modules.Evaluate, maintain and improve existing code base to ensure that it is properly structured and utilize software engineering best practices.Troubleshoot, identify, and research reported issues, and have the ability to provide recommendations by comparing advantages and disadvantages of various solutions.Stay on top of new technologies and tools, and adopt relevant ones to the team.Participate in peer reviews, learn and apply software engineering best practices to your work. Accountable for meeting assigned project objectives and timelines.Set engineering vision and direction for existing and future applications. Pay Range: $100,000-$115,000 per annumCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.Work RequirementsThis role is considered an on-site position located in Cupertino, CA, USAYou must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
