Title: Student & Program Coordinator Employee Classification: Student & Program Coordinator Campus: University of North Texas Division: UNT-Provost SubDivision-Department: UNT-College of Lib Arts & Soc Sci Department: UNT-Psychology-122500 Job Location: Denton Salary: Commensurate with experience FTE: 1.000000 Retirement Eligibility: TRS Eligible Position Overview This position will support faculty and their efforts in working closely with high school and college students who will be participating in a grant-funded workforce development program designed to assist students in their efforts to pursue a career in healthcare. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of professional related experience in coordinating or administering higher education programming or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing responsibilities. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Job Duties Recruiting high school and college students for Workforce Development Program Assisting students as they transition in their education toward a career in healthcare. Work closely with Sr. Program Project Coordinator to design and execute cocurricular programming. Assist students with college application process. Facilitate social and mentoring support with participants monthly and throughout the year Physical Requirements Communicating with others to exchange information. Environmental Hazards No adverse environmental conditions expected. Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Driving University Vehicle No Security Sensitive This is a Security Sensitive Position.
