You:Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy serviceWork efficiently and proactivelyCommunicate clearly and respectfullyTake initiative and anticipate needsThrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment****The Essentials (Core Responsibilities)Dining Room Preparation & SupportSet dining room tables according to Club standards and reservation needsComplete side work duties, including stocking silverware, glassware, and linensPolish glassware, china, and flatwareRefill condiment containers and maintain station readinessFold napkins and reset tables according to service standardsService SupportProvide water service and monitor beverage levelsAssist servers with clearing courses and special requestsSupport drink service when necessaryCommunicate table needs and guest requests to serversContinuously monitor tables to assist with clearing and resettingMaintain proper clearing techniques according to Club etiquette standardsSanitation & OrganizationOrganize and separate bussed dishes properly to avoid breakageSort silverware, glassware, and china in dish area correctlyClean and sanitize tables and chairs before resettingMaintain cleanliness of service stands and work areasComplete supply requisitions with management approvalThe Expectations (Performance & Service Standards)Always maintain a courteous and professional demeanorDemonstrate urgency and attentiveness during serviceSupport hosts and management when greeting and seating guestsFollow proper service etiquette and clearing proceduresAlways assist the team proactively (never return empty-handed)Communicate effectively with management and colleaguesWork weekends and holidays during peak seasonContribute positively to team culture and Member experienceFollow all Club policies and service standardsThe Standards (Qualifications & Professional Conduct)Education & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred3–6 months related experience or training preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience consideredSkills & CompetenciesBasic mathematical skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong verbal communication skillsFriendly, courteous, and customer-focused demeanorOutgoing, warm, and positive attitudeAbility to apply common-sense problem-solving in standard service situationsPhysical RequirementsStand and walk for extended periodsUse hands to handle objects and equipmentReach, balance, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch as neededLift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionallyWork in a fast-paced dining environmentCommitment to Service ExcellenceTo perform this role successfully, the Server Assistant must consistently meet the productivity, quality, and service standards expected at Burning Tree Country Club.
