Job DetailsFull-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPay: $20.00–$24.00 per hourLocation: Fayetteville, ARPosition OverviewAction Seating & Mobility is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, assemble, deliver, and support complex rehabilitation mobility equipment, including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and seating systems.In addition to field service responsibilities, this role supports warehouse coordination functions such as inventory tracking, equipment staging, purchasing support, and workflow readiness to ensure timely delivery of mobility solutions to patients.This position plays a critical role in restoring independence, safety, and mobility for the individuals we serve.Primary Responsibilities – Field Service & Equipment SupportDiagnose and repair manual and power wheelchairsPerform equipment adjustments and modifications in the fieldDeliver and set up mobility equipment in homes and clinical environmentsProvide patient and caregiver instruction on equipment useComplete service documentation accurately and promptlyMaintain company vehicle inventory and service toolsCoordinate repair parts ordering as neededPrepare and manage loaner equipment when requiredSupport Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) during equipment setupsSecondary Responsibilities – Warehouse Operations SupportAssist with receiving and staging incoming equipmentPre-assemble mobility devices prior to delivery schedulingMaintain inventory accuracy in AtlasSupport Min/Max parts inventory trackingAssist with purchase order receiving verificationCoordinate equipment movement between staging and delivery queuesInvestigate shipment discrepancies or missing componentsAssist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliationSupport annual physical inventory countsMaintain warehouse organization and safety standardsEquipment Build & Delivery Readiness CoordinationEnsure equipment builds are progressing according to delivery timelinesStage equipment for ATP configuration and clinical readinessVerify components against order specificationsAssist with equipment transfers between branch locationsCommunicate equipment status updates to internal teamsCollaboration ResponsibilitiesAssistive Technology Professionals (ATPs)Action Care Coordinators (ACCs)Warehouse staffBilling teamsBranch leadershipRequirementsRequired Qualifications: High school diploma or GED requiredPreferred ExperienceMechanical repairAutomotive or diesel serviceHVAC or industrial maintenanceDME or CRT equipment serviceBiomedical equipment repairField service technician rolesWarehouse inventory coordinationWheelchair or mobility equipment experience is strongly preferred but not required.Technical SkillsStrong mechanical aptitudeTroubleshooting abilityFamiliarity with hand and power toolsBasic electrical diagnostics experienceAbility to follow technical assembly specificationsStrong documentation accuracyComfort working independently in the fieldExperience with Atlas or similar tracking systems is a plusPhysical RequirementsLift up to 65 lbs frequentlyLift up to 100 lbs occasionally (team-assisted)Stand and walk up to 4 hours dailySit up to 4 hours dailyDrive up to 2 hours dailyWork EnvironmentCombination of warehouse, clinic, and residential service settingsStandard Monday–Friday schedulePersonal Attributes for SuccessMechanically inclinedDependable and self-directedDetail-orientedPatient-focusedOrganized and workflow-drivenComfortable working across multiple environmentsWhy Join Action Seating & MobilityIndependenceSafetyMobilityDignityBenefitsWeekday schedulePaid technical trainingManufacturer certification opportunitiesCareer advancement into senior technician or ATP pathwaysFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k)J-18808-Ljbffr
