We are committed to clinical excellence, client-centered care, and fostering a positive culture that empowers our teams to thrive.We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) who is passionate about supporting childrens development and building functional independence. The OT is responsible for evaluating, planning, and delivering individualized, evidence-based services to pediatric clients in clinic and community-based settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment, independent treatment planning, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams in a supportive, mission-driven environment!Duties:Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observationDevelop, implement, and adjust individualized plans of care based on clinical judgment and progressProvide direct OT services in clinic and/or community-based settingsAddress fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, self-care, emotional regulation, play, and daily living skillsImplement evidence-based interventions to promote independence and functional participationAdapt therapeutic activities based on child response, progress, and environmentComplete accurate, timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and timelinesMaintain compliant electronic records including evaluations, progress reports, and dischargesCollaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to support skill carryover and treatment goalsDemonstrate flexibility with scheduling, clinic locations, and service delivery needs, including travel as requiredQualifications:Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.Current Texas Occupational Therapy License in good standing.Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.Valid drivers license and ability to travel between clinic locations.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and transition positions frequently during therapy sessions.Adequate vision and hearing to observe behavior, assess performance, and support therapy delivery.Ability to use computers, tablets, and therapy materials effectively for documentation and treatment.Benefits & Perks:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceMedical, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance (eligible full-time employees)Employer-paid: Life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance$500/yr CEU stipend (eligible full-time employees)Paid time off and paid company holidays (eligible full-time employees)Tenure and milestone bonuses to reward long-term commitmentLearn More About Us Here: https://www.pediaplex.net/Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:PediaPlex is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
