PROGRAM SPECIALIST - NUTRITION

POSITION SUMMARYOur Program Specialist will implement and coordinate school nutrition programs. Evaluate food service operations ensuring they met federal, state and Atlanta Public Schools standards. Oversees staffing and training of cafeteria employees, while coordinating with principals and health inspectors ensuring cafeterias are acceptable for the students. Understand how to manage stressAdditional Work Conditions & Physical Abilities: Will require travel to multiple sites. Extended hours may be required depending on each situation. Must understand and have full knowledge of the occupational hazards in using power tools and equipment and of necessary safety precautions.
