Licensed Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work remotely. Key Responsibilities Provide technical evaluation of vendor proposed system designs and assess design maturity and performance Write technical papers on the risks of systems meeting USCG/ABS design standards Conduct cost estimation for proposed ship construction changes and perform root cause analysis of shipboard failures Required Qualifications BS degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance Four to twelve years of experience in the shipbuilding industry in mechanical engineering Knowledge of industry construction standards for mechanical systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
