Service Technician (building controls & electrical troubleshooting)

Service Technician Location: Jacksonville, FL Salary: $30-$37/hr. Description Our client, a well-established building controls and energy management company, is looking to expand their Service Team by adding a new Technician in Jacksonville, FL. Majority of their clients are within the Greater Jacksonville area allowing for a better work/life balance with limited extended travel. Ideal candidates will have a strong electrical aptitude with proven experience troubleshooting building controls. ResponsibilitiesService building systems (lighting controls, access controls, etc.)Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, amps, static pressure, etc.)Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiencyPerform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performanceReview and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagramsTravel to client sites (75%) and provide remote diagnostics when possibleEnsure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environmentsAct as a liaison between internal teams and external clientsParticipate in on-call rotation (typically, once every fifth week)Pursue ongoing education and trainingService Technician (building automation or control systems exp. req.)
