Quality Assurance Intern

Quality Assurance InternThe Quality Assurance Intern will support the department and work closely with the Quality Assurance Team to ensure service quality, policy compliance, and timely follow up on rider concerns. Essential functions include: Reviewing trip records, verifying service accuracy, organizing case files for management, and helping prepare reports. Monitoring and evaluating paratransit service performance. Assisting with complaint investigations and data analysis. Performing other duties as assigned. Internship Duration: Monday, June 1, 2026 Friday, August 14, 2026 Hours Per Week: Up to 37.5 Hours Per Week Rate of Pay: $20/hr Location: Chicago Paratransit Office, 547 W. Jackson, 8th Floor Chicago, IL 60661 Working Conditions: This position is based in an office setting with standard office equipment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote telecommuting. QualificationsAge: Must be 18 years of age or older. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working towards a degree in Business, Transportation Planning, or other related field. Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license. Proficiencies: Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time, frequently stand and/or walk within an office environment, lift and carry up to 25lbs, use a keyboard and type for prolonged periods.
