NAVARA| Location: Portland Cement Plant COABOUT THE ROLE\nThe Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload railcars, and/or trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.The Operators will maintain a work schedule of Tuesday- Friday 2:30 AM to 12:30 PM, currently no weekend hours.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH\n\nMaintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.\nCarry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, for rail, waterway, and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location.\nUnderstand and operate truck loading equipment.\nOperate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.\nSample product from trucks and barges following company policies.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment.\nPerform clerical functions following the established guidelines for the recording of receipts, shipments and inventory records.\nTerminal Operators need the ability to communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers.\nDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nRequired Education: High School diploma/GED \nRequired Work Experience: 1-3 years \nLicenses Preferred: Valid Driver's License Required \nRequired Computer and Software Skills: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP.Additional Requirements: \n\nPrior cement plant experience or the equivalent to be familiar with all processes, locations and functions\nExperience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels\nKnowledgeable in the Plant safety procedures and regulations\nMust be able to work independently as well as in teams\nSuccessful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
