Automotive Mechanic

Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct specialized repairs such as diesel engine repair, ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) calibration, air brake systems, and auto body repairs when necessary. Execute routine maintenance services like oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for repairs and mechanical adjustments while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to guide repairs efficiently and accurately. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations to enhance vehicle longevity. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various vehicle makes and models. Dealership experience is highly desirable, especially familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, welding techniques, and auto estimating procedures enhances your versatility. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, auto body repair, welding, and suspension work is a plus. Familiarity with diesel engine repair, brake repair including air brake systems, and transmissions is essential for success in this role. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize automotive diagnostics tools effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills ensures a professional approach to every job.
