What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with specialists. Manage patient care throughout their hospitalization, including medication administration, ordering diagnostic tests, and monitoring progress. Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with attending physicians. Document patient care comprehensively and accurately. Who You Are: Board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM). Current and active Texas (TX) medical license and DEA registration. Strong clinical skills and experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute inpatient medical conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Willingness to work extended blocks of consecutive shifts (preferably 2 weeks per month).
