Our connected pre-, intra-, and post-operative ecosystem of leading instrumentation and AI-driven insights advances surgical specialties beyond the limits of open, minimally invasive, and robotic surgery.Building a One Surgical Post Market team will accelerate our readiness to manage any post market headwinds while also focusing on establishing a foundation and framework to support Medtronic's strategic growth.LEAD POST MARKET TEAM Product trending and monitoring of product performanceEnhance rigor in failure investigation and trending to make timely and effective decisionsDevelop monthly review process and consistent technical and quality communication processes Design and implement framework for consistent management of post market quality issues.Establish an external advisory group to provide unbiased clinical and safety guidance.Interact with customers and regulatory agencies on defined quality matters.ACCOUNTABLE FOR NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH QUALITY HYPERCARE Partner with cross-functional key stakeholders to enhance rigor in investigation and trending to make timely and effective decisionsGather commercial insight to inform product performance and escalation of product or process related issues.Build alignment with service and repair for timely input to global complaint handlingCRITICAL LEADERSHIP DIFFERENTIATORS:Strategic, global leader able to sustain core $6B businessCan lead/influence teams to make efficient, timely and effective decisionsSignificant breadth and depth in quality decision making, risk management, quality remediation, field corrective action, customer engagement, regulator engagementCapability to understand business goals, balance of business and quality objectives and impact of decisions on those areas as well as lead direct and dotted line teams to deliver rigor in quality deliverables.Strong principle-based coaching and collaboration skillsMust Have: Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 15 years prior quality experience; or with Masters or other advanced degree, minimum 13 years prior relevant experience.Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience.Significant breadth and depth in quality decision making, risk management, quality remediation, field corrective action, customer engagement, regulator engagementRisk management experience in the medical device industry.Post Market Quality experienceNice to Have:Requires exceptional business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to a business unit.Typically has deep domain expertise plus broad substantive management experience across multiple professional disciplines within the organization. PR) locations (USD):236,250 - $393,750This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico.
