Travel Speech Therapist - Pediatrics

American Traveler is seeking a part-time pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Ohio licensure for an outpatient clinic serving a diverse pediatric population.Job Details• Outpatient pediatric clinic setting,• Part-time schedule: Tuesdays 10:00am-5:00pm, Wednesdays 8:30am-4:30pm, Thursdays 10:00am-5:30pm, and Fridays 8:30am-12:00pm,• Caseload of approximately 10-12 pediatric patients per day in 30-minute sessions,• Patient population ranges from preschool to school age,• Common conditions include speech and language developmental delays, autism (pragmatics, social routines), apraxia, and articulation disorders,• Serves a large Spanish-speaking population with interpreter support available during sessions,• Local candidates are accepted,Job Requirements• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology,• Current Ohio state license in Speech-Language Pathology in good standing,• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or a conditional license under a supervised Professional Experience Plan approved by the Ohio Board,• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist,• Current BLS certification,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates,• Proof of address and SSN and DOB (MM/DD) required for consideration,• 1 supervisory reference required for consideration,• Ohio SLP license required if applicable,Additional Information• Evaluate, plan, and implement Speech-Language Therapy services in accordance with Ohio state practice standards and facility policies,• Administer standardized and non-standardized assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each patient's age, diagnosis, and personal goals,• Collaborate with patients, families/caregivers, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to maximize functional outcomes and plan for discharge,• Monitor and modify treatment plans based on patient response and progress,• Provide patient and family/caregiver education, training, and discharge recommendations including assistive equipment as appropriate,• Participate in the Clinical Education program and continuing education to maintain competency,• EMR experience preferred,• Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) and vital stem training are preferred,
