We're growing our Dallas footprint at DA11 and moving away from rotating third-party remote-hands vendors toward one dedicated local technician per major site. Consistency matters — you'd know our racks, our cable runs, our inventory.What you'd doRack, stack, and cable Dell, HP, and Supermicro serversHandle drive/NIC/RAM swaps and server troubleshooting with our remote engineering teamManage incoming shipments and cross-connectsKeep cages organized — cabling labeled, spares documented, clear inventoryRespond to tickets within agreed SLAWork with our remote engineers via Google Chat during sessionsWhat we're looking forAlready on-site at DA11 or other Dallas Equinix buildingsStrong cabling disciplineServer hardware experience (component-level troubleshooting, not just racking)Comfortable with Juniper and Cisco switches, 10G/100G/400G optics and DACs, and various NIC brands (Intel, Mellanox, Broadcom)Able to obtain/maintain Equinix DA11 site access, or already badgedWhat we offer~40 hours/month at a competitive hourly rate (by agreement)Direct relationship with FDC ownership — no agency, no middlemanMonthly invoicing, paid net 15Long-term stability — no more rotating vendorsCompatible with other freelance work at other sitesTo apply: email hr@fdcservers.net with subject line "DA11 Dallas Remote Hands"
