Procurement Specialist

Job Description The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for glazing and façade projects. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards, timely delivery, and compliance with project specifications.Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.3–5 years of procurement experience (preferably in glazing, aluminum, or construction industry).Key Responsibilities:Source and procure materials such as:Architectural glass (tempered, laminated, IGUs)Aluminum profiles & façade systemsHardware & fittings (spiders, brackets, hinges, patch fittings)Sealants, gaskets, silicones, and accessoriesIdentify reliable suppliers and maintain an approved vendor list.Obtain and evaluate quotations based on price, quality, delivery time, and technical compliance.Vendor ManagementPurchase Order ManagementPrepare and issue purchase orders as per project requirements.Track orders to ensure on-time delivery aligned with project schedules.Coordinate with warehouse and site teams for material receipt.CoordinationWork closely with:Project managersDesign/technical teamsSite engineersAccounts department (invoices, payments)Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and BOQ requirements.Preferred SkillsExperience in façade or curtain wall projectsUnderstanding of international glass and aluminum standardsKnowledge of import procedures Company DescriptionDesign assist glass and glazing contractor.
