Director, Data Center Development (Execution)

About the Company Oxbridge Re Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: OXBR) is a publicly traded company focused on the development and scaling of real-world assets (RWAs). Through its SurancePlus business, the Company has established an operating platform in the tokenization of reinsurance securities, providing access to high-quality, cash-generating assets. The Company is now expanding into the AI data center sector, including opportunities across site development, infrastructure ownership, and the potential tokenization of data center-related revenue streams. As part of this effort, we are building a small, execution-focused team to help originate and advance early-stage opportunities. Role Overview This role is focused on hands-on execution of early-stage data center development opportunities, with a primary emphasis on site sourcing, evaluation, and advancement. Reporting directly to the founding team, this individual will be responsible for driving day-to-day progress on site-level opportunities, working across brokers, landowners, utilities, and infrastructure providers to move projects from initial identification to decision-ready. What You’ll DoIdentify and evaluate potential sites for data center development.Source opportunities through brokers, landowners, and local networks.Assess key infrastructure requirements, including power availability, interconnection pathways, fiber connectivity, and network access.Engage directly with utilities, electrical co-ops, and power providers to understand capacity, timelines, and feasibility constraints.Support site-level diligence, including zoning, permitting considerations, and development risks.Coordinate across stakeholders to move opportunities from initial sourcing to decision-ready.Maintain momentum across multiple parallel opportunities in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.Who You Are4–10 years of experience in data center development, infrastructure, energy, or real estate.Direct experience with site selection, utilities, or early-stage development processes.Comfortable operating as a hands-on executor, not just a strategist.Experience working with brokers, utilities or power providers, and infrastructure stakeholders.Strong practical judgment and problem-solving ability.Able to operate independently and create structure in ambiguous, early-stage environments.Motivated to step out of a supporting role and take ownership of execution. What This Role Is This role is a high-impact execution role at the ground level of a new initiative.It is ideal for someone who has been a key contributor behind the scenes and is ready to lead execution.It offers an opportunity to build credibility and grow into broader leadership responsibility over time. What We Offer Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonusStock-based compensation; medical coverage; pension plan; professional fee reimbursements; and paid time offA unique opportunity to shape, launch, and scale new initiatives within a publicly traded companyDirect involvement in strategic decision-making across capital formation, infrastructure development, and commercial executionOpportunity for equity participation aligned with contribution and long-term value creation Why This Role This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a new vertical within a publicly traded company where execution matters, impact is visible, and strong performers can quickly expand their scope and responsibility.
