Competitive wages - starting rate: $31.95; top rate: $36.99 per hour + shift premiums (wage is assigned based on skill and ability and position);

Your Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate a minimum of one CNC grinding production process performing single, multi-function and multi-sequencing operations on a universal grinding machine, which may include chucking and shoe work holding methods
Set up and operate a minimum of one CNC lathe production process (pertinent only to Large Cell)Follow standard work instructions and work specifications
Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process. Monitor production process according to maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance in timely manner.
Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
Required to train other operators as needed.
May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate.
Ability to read and interpret production prints.
Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.

Your Qualifications
Education: Grade 12 diploma
Experience: Have demonstrated competency as Grinding Set Up Operator or equivalent machining background.
General Machinist Trade certificate / Canada Red Seal Journeyperson Machinist
