Physician MD/DO Occupational Healthcare

Seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to serve as Medical Director or Clinician at a large occupational health clinic in Albuquerque, NM, primarily for police, fire, and city employees.Lead high-quality, compliant medical care including orthopedic evaluations, X-rays, EKGs, and wellness exams.Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and billing processes.Communicate effectively with staff, participate in administrative and educational activities, and promote a positive team environment.Qualifications include MD/DO from an accredited program, 2+ years (Clinician) or 5+ years (Director) in patient care, with preferred experience in emergency, orthopedic, occupational, or aerospace medicine.Licenses/certifications required: NM Medical License, DEA, BLS, with preferred certifications such as Medical Review Officer and DOT/FMCSA Medical Examiner.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and work in-person at facilities in Albuquerque.Salary ranges from $250,000 to $300,000+ annually, with benefits including 401(k), health, dental, vision insurance, and paid time off.Application questions assess experience, certifications, and familiarity with city employees.
