Medical Scheduler Job Category: EmployeeRequisition Number: MEDIC003985Posted: March 4, 2026Full-TimeHybridCityView, Minneapolis, MN 55413, USAJob Details Description Receive incoming calls from patients or referring clinics and schedule both adult and pediatric office visit, lab appointment or procedure appointment.Make outbound calls to schedule patients who have been referred to our office for a clinic visit or a procedure.Record patient appointments in NextGen Practice Management. Document appointment information on order in NextGen Electronic Health Record.Complete appointment assessment questions in NextGen Electronic Health Record prior to scheduling patient.Entry of referrals into NextGen Electronic Health Record.Contact referring providers for clarification of referral orders as applicable.Assist patients to re-schedule appointments when needed.Document patient insurance information.Send letters to patients via mail or patient portalProvide great customer service to internal and external customers while working in a high volume call center environment.Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Essential Functions: In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily and regular attendance is required.
