Outboard Bar BartenderBeautiful HEAT Hotel in Lake Havasu, located on the Bridgewater Channel right next to the London Bridge, is re-imagining lakeside hospitality with the new Outboard Bar. Outboard features the best channel and bridge views in town, with seating on the upper deck and the green along the channel. Outboard is the place to stop for a crisp beer or refreshing cocktail, with exciting parties and live music all year long. We are seeking a part-time Bartender to continue our trend in providing next level quality and customer service to our guests.In this role, you'll prepare and serve beverages, engage with guests, and maintain a clean, organized bar environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, has strong beverage knowledge, and takes pride in providing attentive, high-quality service.At Outboard, the bartenders are the captains of the guest experience. From welcoming guests to throwing exciting events, Outboard is looking for hospitality-driven people who like to have fun, create memorable experiences, and make great drinks.What You'll DoPrepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Heat Hotel recipes and standards.Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to guests at the bar.Greet guests quickly and create a welcoming atmosphere.Verify identification for guests and ensure responsible alcohol service.Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow safe alcohol service practices.Maintain strong knowledge of the beverage menu, including cocktails, beer, wine, and daily specials.Accurately enter orders and process payments using the POS system.Prepare drinks for both bar guests and service tickets for servers efficiently.Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.Polish glassware and maintain bar presentation standards.Complete opening, running, and closing side work.Reconcile cash and credit card transactions at the end of the shift.Assist with additional tasks or special projects as needed to support the team and overall operation.What We're Looking ForPrior bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting.Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and bar terminology.Understanding of responsible alcohol service and liquor laws.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.Basic math skills and experience handling cash and credit transactions.Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently (bilingual is a plus to assist international guests).Required: Food Handler's CardA plus: Title 4 Alcohol TrainingSchedule ExpectationsTeam members must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.Why You'll Love it Here$12.15 per hour plus great tips!Paid sick time after 90 daysFlexible schedulingDiscounts at all sister properties located in California as well as at Heat HotelAccess to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)A beautiful waterfront workplace surrounded by an amazing teamIf you enjoy working in a lively waterfront setting and take pride in delivering exceptional hospitality, we encourage you to apply via this ad or in person at 1420 McCulloch Blvd, Lake Havasu City, AZ.Heat Hotel utilizes E-Verify to confirm all hired applicants' right to work in the USA.
