At Galaxy, we\'reproud to deliver high-quality products for our ever-changing customerbase, and we\'re looking for skilled individuals like you to join ourgrowing team.Key Responsibilities **Precision Machining:** Operate advanced 5-Axis machines to producehigh-tolerance aerospace components that meet our exactingstandards. **Blueprint Interpretation:** Read and interpret blueprints toensure precise hole placements, depths, and diameters, maintainingtight tolerances. **Quality Assurance:** Conduct thorough inspections during and aftermachining to ensure adherence to specifications, maintaining ourcommitment to excellence. **Efficiency and Multitasking:** Maximize productivity by runningmultiple machines when required, while maintaining attention todetail and organization. **Continuous Improvement:** Broaden your skill set by cross-trainingon various machines and processes, contributing to our team\'soverall effectiveness. **Safety Compliance:** Uphold safety protocols by wearing properpersonal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, ensuring a safeworking environment for all. **Team Collaboration:** Foster a collaborative and positive workenvironment by assisting and supporting colleagues as needed.Additional Responsibilities Track estimated versus actual hours spent on jobs to optimizeworkflow and efficiency. Willingness to work overtime when necessary, although overtime isnot mandatory. Return all company tools to their designated locations after use tomaintain organization and efficiency.Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of five years ofCNC machining experience. Proficiency in basic math skills and the ability to interpretblueprints and set-up documents accurately. Working knowledge of G-Codes and the ability to edit programs asneeded. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to use hand and power tools, and operate computer softwareincluding Microsoft Office products. Experience with precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, boregauges, dial indicators, and scales. Familiarity with hoist and forklift operation, and capability forlarge set-ups using cranes.**Schedule**We currently offer two shifts: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm or Mondayto Thursday, 3:30pm to 2:30am.Second shift employees enjoy a 15% shift differential.Benefits\At Galaxy Technologies, we believe in supporting our employees bothpersonally and professionally.
