Electrical Assembler
JOB TITLE: Electrical Assembler Non-Exempt PositionREPORTS TO: Production Supervisor / Manager Hoist ProductionDEPARTMENT: Assembly Basic FunctionAssembly of electric and pneumatic chain and wire rope hoists.General Job ResponsibilitiesAssemble 3-Phase and Single-phase electric hoists to configuration requirements.Assemble pneumatic hoists to configuration requirements. Assemble and wire control boxes.Responsible for producing acceptable work which meets or exceeds all QualityControl Standards.Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.Exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member.Job QualificationsMust have high school diploma or acceptable equivalent.Good communication skills.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to operate manual and power hand tools. Ability to interpret blueprints.Ability to operate various measuring tools including calipers and tape measures.General electrical knowledge and ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.Physical RequirementsRoutine stooping, squatting, and bending.Occasional heavy lifting up to 65 pounds.Ability to stand 7+ hours per day.Other RequirementsMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Demonstrate a positive and business-like attitude.Team Player.Ability to work independently.Required to wear all OSHA mandated safety equipment and to adhere to allcompany safety practices and policies.Conduct all interactions with customers (internal and external), vendors, fieldsales representatives, co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive,courteous and respectful manner.Regular attendance is an essential element of the job.
