Position: Traveling Superintendent/ Lead SuperintendentLocation: Metro Atlanta, Georgia Project Type: Tilt-Wall, Tilt-Up / Industrial & Commercial ConstructionProject Values: $5M – $30MEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewA well-established national commercial general contractor with a strong presence in the Metro Atlanta and Charlotte markest is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up tilt-wall construction projects ranging from $5M to $30M. Headquartered in Cedartown, Georgia, along with our branch offices in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Charlotte, and Stafford, Virginia, we are strategically positioned to maximize focus on our clients’ needs throughout the United States.This individual will serve as the on-site leader responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring schedule adherence, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The Lead Superintendent will play a critical role in delivering successful industrial and commercial projects throughout the Atlanta area.This team currently has needs in:🔹 6 active tilt-wall projects in Metro Atlanta🔹 Will continued expansion throughout the Southeast — growing into Mid-FloridaKey ResponsibilitiesLead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through final completionManage tilt-wall construction sequencing, including slab-on-grade, structural steel, and building envelope installationDevelop, maintain, and enforce detailed project schedulesCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field staffEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standardsConduct daily jobsite meetings and maintain detailed field reportsOversee quality control to ensure work meets plans, specifications, and local building codesCollaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Engineers, and InspectorsManage inspections, punch lists, and project close-out proceduresMaintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally on-siteQualifications7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial or industrial projectsProven experience leading tilt-wall construction projects ($5M–$30M preferred)Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor managementAbility to lead teams and drive accountability in the fieldExperience with construction management software and technology platformsExcellent communication and leadership skillsStable work history with reputable commercial general contractorsCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $124,000 – $130,000 annually45-hour weekly structureOvertime paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 45 per weekCompany vehicle providedComprehensive healthcare benefitsESOP participation eligibility after one yearLong-term growth opportunity with a national builderRelocation assistance availableWhy Join This CompanyThis organization offers the stability of a national builder combined with a strong regional presence.
