Financial Analyst

We are partnering with a local organization looking for a Financial Analyst in Pittsburgh, PA. This role entails the management of month end reporting and analysis, investigating and articulating the key drivers of business results, and taking ownership of the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process.ResponsibilitiesProvide financial analysis support, including:Supporting the month-end and annual closing processPreparing monthly performance dashboards and departmental summary reportsProviding support to internal customers as needed for operational decisionsProviding process guidance to department managersPlay a key role in budgeting process, including:Coordinating and preparing Excel/Essbase models for annual budgetConsolidating input filesTeaming with finance and line managers on budget preparationProviding feedback to departmental leadersAssisting in budget upload processAssisting in budget consolidation and analysisProvide support to other ad hoc projects as assigned QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance (MBA Preferred).2+ years of progressive and relative financial work experience.Solid financial acumen and highly proficient in accounting/financial principles.Computer literacy in various financial/analysis tools, such as Excel, and an integrated financial system such as Oracle, SAP, etc. Familiarity with an OLAP tool such as Essbase a plus.For immediate consideration for the Financial Analyst role, please email your resume in a Word document to with the title in the subject field.
