Warehouse Specialist - Receiving & Put Away (6am-2:30pm)

We pride ourselves on being dedicated to our values: PeopleEncouraging the success of our people.TrustBuilding relationships among ourselves, customers, vendors & other partners.CommitmentContinuously striving to deliver high-quality, measurable results.InnovationProviding ideas & solutions for our customers.What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses with accuracy and efficiency.Transport received goods from receiving docks to designated warehouse storage areas.Accurately scan, label, and record inventory during the put-away process.Verify product descriptions, quantities, and bar code numbers to ensure accuracy.Safely operate forklifts, reach truck, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.Maintain organization of storage areas to maximize space and efficiency.Report any discrepancies, damages, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and warehouse housekeeping.Follow company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.Support other warehouse activities as needed (picking, staging, shipping).A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.Experience1+ years of warehouse and distribution experience including use of commercial or industrial equipment.Experience with handheld computer equipment such as RF scanners.Must be able to follow directions and work independently.Able to work well and coordinate with others.Ability to read, write and exhibit strong basic math skills.Core CompetenciesExcellent attention to detail.Time management skills and ability to prioritize.Ability to work in a deadline drive, fast paced environment.Ability to operate material moving equipment such as a forklift, reach truck,riding pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and picking carts. EducationHigh School Diploma or GEDEssential Job Functions:Lifting/Carrying: Frequently required to lift, carry, push, or pull products, parts, and materials weighing up to 75 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance or material handling equipment.Standing/Walking: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse while supervising operations, assisting team members, and handling materials.Climbing/Balance: Occasional climbing onto equipment platforms to access inventory or oversee warehouse activities; ability to maintain balance while handling materials.Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching: Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to check inventory, assist with loading/unloading, and verify product placement.Reaching/Handling: Frequent reaching, grasping, and handling of boxes, pallets, equipment, and documentation; manual dexterity required for operating scanners, computers, and warehouse tools.Vision: Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus to read labels, verify counts, and monitor equipment.Hearing/Speaking: Ability to hear instructions, equipment sounds, and safety signals; must be able to communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and management in a noisy environment.Environmental Conditions: Work performed in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and moving equipment; may occasionally work outdoors during loading/unloading.PPE Use: Must be able to wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, etc.) as required.EEO and AccommodationsLoeb Electric is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace.
