Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development/Government Relations Associate at Potomac International Partners, Inc. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for lead generation, market research, presentations, and communication tasks. This role is based in Washington, DC with some flexibility for remote work.

Market Research proficiency
Experience in business development or related field
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of policy and political landscape is a plus
Responsibilities
Work with and support the executive team in business development, client services and in day-to-day business operations, reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, you:
Track all business development activities to ensure that things are being done in a most timely and professional manner.
Coordinate, as directed, with outside consultants and employees.
In coordination with the team, produce material for, and follow-up on, all new business activities.
Conduct business development research and analysis.
Participate in new business pitches and client meetings as appropriate.
Assist the executive team in preparation for all business development pitches proposals and follow-up actions required.
Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) extensively.
Stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Possess strong writing skills.
Have outstanding collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and self-directed.
Be willing to work early and late hours depending on the circumstances of the client.
Requirements: 1+ years' experience in Government Relations, Politics, Business Development, or Communications. Bachelor's Degree or greater.
