RED ROCK CATERING MANAGER

Position SummaryThe Catering Manager will coordinate and oversee all catering orders from beginning to end. This position will also perform food service functions, including but not limited to preparing and serving food according to Company standards and guidelines. The Catering Manager is responsible for maintaining County/State/Federal health codes, customer satisfaction and accurate work results that are noticeable by the customer (i.e., food quality, wholesomeness, presentation, order accuracy, merchandising, portion control and maintenance of departmental food standards).Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Duties may also change to meet the ongoing needs of the business.Primary Duties And ResponsibiltiesCoordinate and oversee catering orders with efficiency and accuracyEnsures Management stays informed of important information regarding eventsConsistently prepare and serve food according to company standards, this includes recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standardsProvide prompt and courteous customer serviceAdhere to the work schedule as posted, unless a change in schedule is arranged with the General ManagerFlexibility to cover shifts, as neededOperate all kitchen equipment and devices in a safe manner and according to guidelinesAct with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of the companyMaintain food quality and safety standardsAssist in controlling and maintaining food inventory and costs through purchases, pricing and controlling wasteEnsure compliance with all health and safety codes.Keep work and service area in a safe, sanitary, and orderly mannerMaintain a positive working relationship with other team members and members of management.Performs other duties as assigned QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilitiesHigh level of integrity and professionalismAbility to maintain confidentialityDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task effectivelyKnowledge of food safety practicesEssential Physical RequirementsAbility to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of timeRepetitive arm/hand operations for the entirety of a shiftFrequent movements throughout the storeAbility to position self appropriately while completing tasksLifting requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 poundsAbility to communicate through verbal and written practicesAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageSufficient visual acuity
