The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of commercial kitchen appliances and systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities:Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systemsSupport the client: Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform tests to ensure systems are error-freeCustomer Service: Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelinesTroubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas related issues with commercial kitchen equipmentRequirements:High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree or certification preferredExperience a minimum of 2-5 years in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipmentAbility to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skillsAbility to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent managerAbility to lift to 55 poundsProblem-solving skills and mechanical aptitudePreferred relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electricalMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record as outlined with our company policyMust be able to pass a satisfactory background and drug screeningComputer skills including Microsoft officeKnowledgeable about all safety requirementsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 to 75 pounds; frequently lift and or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and heavy lift equipmentComfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heightsAbility to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and climb up and down laddersExtensive daily travel to work site locationsExposure to electrical, steam, and high heat units that require extreme caution and safety equipment Ameriserve is an equal opportunity employer.
