DescriptionSEWS - Ohio Customer Service Center (Marysville, OH)BASIC PURPOSE: Manage customer relations and delivery operations to ensure on-time product delivery, strong customer and internal relationships, and efficient inventory management while promoting continuous improvement and achieving performance targets.Basic Position DutiesS-NVC Activities and KPIsLead and support departmental S-NVC (SEWS New Value Chain) initiatives to support continuous improvementTrack, analyze, and report monthly KPIs to ensure performance targets are achievedCustomer RelationsProvide support to the MBU customer base - including Subaru, Honda, and Tier II suppliersDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts and management to support business objectivesOrder Management Monitor customer orders and related activities to ensure on-time delivery requirements are metInventory ControlManage and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability aligns with customer demandCommunicate with customers, manufacturing plants, and local staff to support timely production and inventory availabilityProduct DeliveryProvide direction and support to warehouse operations to ensure complete and timely delivery to all customersBuild-out Management/Start-up Activity Monitor weekly build reports issued by the Delivery team to support smooth start-up activitiesEnsure all compensation requests are submitted by required deadlinesSupplier PerformanceReview supplier performance reports and ensure root cause analysis is conductedDevelop and implement effective countermeasures in a timely mannerCommunicate issues, actions, and results clearly with customer and SEWS upper management teamPerformance Management Lead recruitment, selection, training, and performance evaluation of Delivery team membersMaintain open and effective communication with all staffFoster a positive and collaborative work environmentLead the team in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance process efficiency and reduce costsSupport additional projects and responsibilities as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree required8-10 yrs experience in inventory control, purchasing, or customer service environments (automotive industry preferred), including 2-4 years in a supervisory or middle management role.Strong organizational, task management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to interact effectively with all levels of SEWS associates and customer contactsDemonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing salaried staffAbility to lead team to achieve organizational goals and drive performanceProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Experience with mainframe systems, including order and inventory management applications.Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentWilling to travel as neededAbout Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.
