The CDO will be a key leader in driving innovation and growth in fundraising, with a focus on building sustainable revenue streams across various channels. This role requires a visionary and strategic approach to fundraising, including major gifts, individual giving, mass market, foundations, corporate partnerships, and events. The successful candidate will be responsible for diversifying and expanding revenue channels globally, ensuring that the fundraising strategy aligns with the organization's mission priorities, and leading a high-performing development team. Key responsibilities for the CDO include strategic development leadership, board and executive engagement, development operations and data management, team leadership, and external relations. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years' of progressive development experience, with a proven track record in multi-channel fundraising and a deep understanding of the US and international fundraising landscapes. They should be adept at creating new revenue streams, expanding donor pipelines, and have strong operational and systems experience.
