Lead Structural Engineer

Overview In this role you will lead the structural engineering effort under supervision to develop design solutions for buildings and load-bearing structures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors to deliver robust design documents, shop drawings, and calculations. You mentor junior team members and help advance office standards while engaging in design-build processes. This position offers impact across semiconductor, biolife science, and data center facilities within a dynamic project environment. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with disciplines and contractors to develop drawings and specificationsReview shop drawings and submittals to understand design-construction interrelationsAttend construction and design verification walks and report observationsPrepare structural calculations and finite element models under supervisionLead development of design deliverables including reports, drawings, and Construction DocumentsAnalyze and design basic structural components of buildings or structuresCoordinate structural models and drawings with other design disciplinesMentor interns and junior team membersContribute to development of office standards and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned Key requirementsBachelor in Engineering (required)8+ years of experienceMaster’s degree preferredProfessional Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) license preferredNCEES Record preferredPrior experience in semiconductors, microelectronic facilities, biolife science facilities, and/or data center facilities preferredExperience with Design-Build preferredExperience with RAM, STAAD, Tedds, EnercalcExperience with Autodesk Building Systems Software design and deliveryExperience as a consulting engineer and contributing to continuous improvement processesleadershipcollaborationmentoringRAMSTAADTedds
