Production Cell Operator- 1st Shift

DescriptionDuties / Responsibilities:Accountable for daily operations of assigned production line Follow Production Work Instructions and adhere to Quality standards at all times Perform work cell area production operations of press and all other machinery and equipment Monitor product and identify defective parts Document in and maintain daily logbook for each assigned work cell area and machine Assist with work cell area preparation Perform finished product counting, packaging, and labeling Maintain work cell area cleanliness standards Interface with cell support and quality teams Demonstrate P&P Core Values Demonstrate Safe and On-Time work ethic Other duties as assigned Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience working in a Lean facility preferred Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions and production schedules Demonstrated competency in basic math Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow up Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work cell areas Ability to sit, stand for extended periods, bend and twist, lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly, travel throughout the facility, and differentiate between all colors To review benefits information, please refer to The Benefits of Working at P&P Jumpstart Your Manufacturing Career - Careers | P&P Industries
