Apply today.Job DescriptionPRIMARY FUNCTION: The Director is a key member of the administrative team that supports the mission and values of the Early Childhood service line. The Director is ultimately responsible and accountable for all educational services and daily operations of Seedlings and oversees and coordinates all related community partnerships with agencies, school districts, service providers, parents and university/higher education personnel.IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of MAWACONTACTS: Provider agency staff, Philadelphia School District, Early Childhood staff, administrative team members, parents, community agencies, Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), universities/higher education and Elwyn employeesEducation/Experience/Skills QualificationsMaster's Degree required; Doctorate degree preferredCertified/eligible for Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Supervisor certification preferredPDE certification in Special Education required5 years of experience providing direct services to children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) including preschoolers in home, school and Early Intervention programsKnowledge and experience with developmental and behavioral educational methods including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)Demonstrated experience in developing/improving education programs and servicesDemonstrated experience in training and supervising staff in education or clinical programsDemonstrated experience in meeting all program accreditation and licensure regulationsDemonstrated experience in coordinating community partnerships with agencies, school districts, providers, and University/Higher Education personnelDemonstrated experience in the development of research projects, program proposals, grant writing and best practices as related to Early Intervention programs and servicesEffective written, oral communication and technology skillsDuties And ResponsibilitiesAdministratively accountable for all Seedlings education programs/services and operationsDirects all internal/external services at the Seedlings Center and in the communityOversees all required documentation for program licensure, certification and accreditation in collaboration with the Director of Operations at the SEEDSDirects programs strategic planning and implementation of expansion program/servicesIn collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services at the SEEDS, assesses group training needs and interests of individual employees to organize professional training opportunities to meet all required credentialing/licensure entitiesProvides Parent Liaison services and respond promptly/appropriately to parent/family concerns and/or external support personnel as neededUnder the direction of the SEEDS Director, coordinates community liaison services associated with the transition into and out of Early Intervention programs throughout the city of PhiladelphiaUnder the supervision of the SEEDS Director, coordinates all administrative services with other internal Elwyn Service Lines and Support Departments as dictated by program and corporate policies and proceduresContinues to assess and coordinate all programs/services approaches /strategies with related community partners and University/Higher Education personnel to strengthen the continuum of service delivery at the Seedlings and for all the autism services / programs in the city of Philadelphia.Demonstrates leadership as an expert in all Individual Education Plan (IEP) development and implantation, progress monitoring and IEP revision processIn collaboration with administrative team, coordinates the implementation of technology plan across all learning environmentsMaintains rapport, harmonious relations, and cooperative attitude toward all colleaguesDemonstrates flexibility in addressing daily situations involving school administrators, outsideagency representatives, parents and Elwyn personnelSupervises assigned staff, accepts constructive feedback and welcomes suggestions to improve professional skills and techniquesUtilizes self-assessment as a strategy for professional growthPerforms other duties as assigned2026-5557Equal Opportunity EmployerElwyn is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
