Sales Implementation Specialist, Senior

Job DescriptionYour RoleThe Implementation Specialist, Senior is responsible for client implementation launches and complex renewals, directly contributing to a high-quality onboarding and renewal experience for external partners. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Sales Analysis and Operations, this role focuses on the administrative and operational components of launches and renewals while serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The Implementation Specialist, Senior will be trained to support new client implementations and complex renewals across multiple product lines, including both self-funded and fully insured offerings, quality onboarding and renewal experience for external partners.Our leadership model is about developing great leaders at all levels and creating opportunities for our people to grow - personally, professionally, and financially. We are looking for leaders that are energized by creative and critical thinking, building and sustaining high-performing teams, getting results the right way, and fostering continuous learning.ResponsibilitiesYour WorkIn this role, you will:Lead the creation and refinement of standard and custom implementation processes to meet the unique requirements of highly complex client implementations and renewals, often involving significant customization and innovative management approaches.Develop comprehensive, client-specific project plans for complex deliverables, including those that require new process design or enhancements to existing workflows. specific project plans for complex deliverables, including those that require new process design or enhancements to existing workflows. specific project plans for complex deliverables, including those that require new process design or enhancements to existing workflows.Drive implementation strategy and timeline development by facilitating client facing meetings (including Brokers, Client Groups, and HR teams) to ensure successful delivery of complex and customized solutions.Post enrollment period, responsible for the identification and implementation of process improvements such as modernizing client collateral and artifacts, optimization of internal enrollment processes, creation of improved performance measures, etc.QualificationsYour Knowledge and ExperienceRequires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceRequires at least 5 years of prior relevant experienceRequires experience in explaining complex concepts, ideas, and solutions for processes, products, and capabilities to a wide range of audiencesRequires employer group implementation experience in the health insurance industrySkilled in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new tools, software, and applications to develop new processes that improve performance and efficiencyExperience with Salesforce.com applications and Jira is a plusAbout the TeamAbout Blue Shield of CaliforniaAs of January 2025, Blue Shield of California became a subsidiary of Ascendiun.
