Candidates must be comfortable diagnosing electrical and system performance issues, completing repairs safely and efficiently, and ensuring homeowners receive professional service throughout the process.This is a hands-on field role supporting solar service, troubleshooting, diagnostics, commissioning, repair work, and operational quality control.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot and repair residential solar PV systemsDiagnose inverter faults, production issues, monitoring failures, and electrical deficienciesPerform service upgrades, equipment replacements, and warranty-related repairsTest and verify system functionality, monitoring connectivity, and production restorationInterpret electrical drawings, site plans, and system schematicsEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC and local code requirementsMaintain accurate service documentation, photos, and completion notesCommunicate professionally with homeowners regarding findings, repairs, and expectationsCoordinate with service management and operations teams to resolve issues efficientlyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentWhat We’re Looking ForActive electrical license requiredPrevious residential solar service experience requiredStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsStrong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, monitoring platforms, and electrical systemsAbility to work independently and manage service appointments efficientlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipComfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environmentsProfessional communication and customer interaction skillsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workdayPreferred QualificationsNABCEP certificationOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationExperience with battery storage systemsExperience performing warranty and post-install service workWhat We ProvideCompany Truck for work-related travelGas Cards for fuel expensesWear and Tear (Consumables) Tools providedRelocation Bonus$28 - $35/hrSupportive team environment focused on safety and qualityLegal DisclaimerSpartanX is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
