Financial Analyst (Entry Level)

DescriptionThe Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical needs across multiple entities within Rausch Companies. The primary focus will be assisting in the financial analysis and reporting activities related to Calara Group, the company's land development business. The Analyst will directly report to a senior member of the Financial Reporting & Analysis team and will work closely with leadership to maintain data accuracy, develop standardized reporting tools, and prepare key financial deliverables that support strategic and operational decision-making.Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and maintain monthly and quarterly reporting packages for multiple business entities.Assist with consolidating budgets, forecasts, and actual results across operating companies.Perform variance and trend analyses to explain key drivers of performance.Support preparation of executive reports, business plan schedules, and consolidated financial analyses, including cash flow projections.Investment & Development AnalyticsPartner with the acquisitions team to understand project-level financial models and underlying assumptions.Support ongoing tracking of actual performance against plan and update forecasts based on current activity.Prepare comparative analyses and performance summaries for leadership review once developments are under construction or sale.Data Management & SystemsAssist in building automated reporting tools using Excel, Power Query, and other BI tools.Support ERP implementation and data migration projects to enhance financial visibility and reporting efficiency.Cross-Functional SupportCollaborate with accounting, land development, and acquisition teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial workflows.Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support management requests and special projects.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis (internship experience welcome).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, etc.).Exposure to Power Query, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Physical DemandsLifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently and frequently moving small objects.Frequently sitting for long periods of time.Walking or standing occasionally.This position works mostly indoors going outdoors may be frequently required.Must have manual use of hands and vision to use computer constantly.Employee BenefitsMedical Insurance – PPO and HDHP Options.HSA – with eligible HDHP.Dental and Vision Insurance.401(k) – includes company match of up to 5%.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO).Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave.Adoption Assistance and Leave.Tuition Assistance.And More!J-18808-Ljbffr
