Machining Process Engineer

Team player who works with cross-functional teams to improve Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale metrics
Has an interest in High-Pressure Die Casting, CNC Machining, and Assembly processes
Has knowledge and interest in learning process design and process costing for productivity
Identify and improve Quality and Productivity to achieve daily results
Generate continuous improvement projects / Kaizen activities
Able to operate equipment as needed and to be able to understand the current process to identify opportunities for improvement
Open, learn, and implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies for improvements
Diagnose the issues and develop the root cause for countermeasure activity
Make summary reports for assigned projects in a set frequency and be able to present factual data for consensus and drive path forward
Requirements:
Technical Diploma / Associate Degree
Good work ethic (Able to work in team settings, good communication)
Basic computer/math skills
Able to interpret 2D drawings preferred
Basic knowledge of High Pressure Die casting, CNC Machining, and Programmable Logic Control is preferred
Some prior experience in Manufacturing is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
